1. Wake up an hour earlier.

Waking up early is the very first step in doing any productive work. Setting your alarm an hour earlier than usual gets you an extra hour of uninterrupted, peaceful work time. Several research has proven, waking up early leads to increased productivity and success. Early birds have an advantage, they have extra work time and are more optimistic in general.

2. Exercise in the morning.

Getting a workout and maintaining a proper diet is very much important to a better mood and higher levels of productivity.  Do a quick jog or develop a habit of doing morning yoga helps in reaching “high-performance levels in intellectually demanding jobs.”

3. Make a daily to-do list.

Create a list of daily tasks to tackle every day. Keep a track of everything that you need to do and the ones you are doing. 17. Eliminate unnecessary meetings.

Face-to-face communication is vital in the workplace, as it increases the work culture and productivity, but sometimes long and endless meetings can be an absolute waste of time. When scheduling any meetings, make sure they are truly necessary and whether what you plan to discuss can be handled through email or by phone. And in times, when you plan an in-person meeting, schedule it for 30 minutes and be straight to the point.
