    Reason for the Error

    An attempt was made to use the SQL command DROP TABLE for change tables, but DROP TABLE is not supported for change tables.

    Solution

    Use the DBMS_CDC_PUBLISH.DROP_CHANGE_TABLE procedure instead of the DROP TABLE command.
