Senior Level Designer Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and create level layouts that facilitate traversal, exploration, combat, and narrative elements, incorporating feedback from cross-discipline peer reviews.
• Develop and implement mission designs using scripting techniques to establish mission flows, ensuring seamless integration within an open-world context.
• Set up combat or stealth encounters in collaboration with level design, optimizing the gameplay experience within mission spaces.
• Work closely with art, audio, and narrative teams in a collaborative co-development environment to enhance gameplay quality.
• Take ownership of specific game components, ensuring gameplay functionality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven ability to prototype levels with unique themes or gameplay styles.
• Experience in refining levels based on feedback from cross-discipline peer reviews.
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, particularly in blueprint scripting, World Partition, Level Instance, and Data Layers.
• General experience in designing large 3D levels or open-world environments is preferred.
• Capability to follow design directions and implement constructive feedback effectively.
