As a vital component of Cambridge Consultants, our Advisory team undertakes projects for clients across various sectors, including Consumer, Energy & Industrial, Telecommunications, Biotech, Healthcare, and Defence & Security. Our clientele ranges from ambitious start-ups to large multinationals, all aiming to leverage cutting-edge technology for market transformation and innovation. We are dedicated to helping them achieve success through our insights into critical business decisions related to deep technology.
The role is situated within the ‘Research & Insights’ segment of our Advisory group, which emphasizes understanding how future developments influence present-day decisions. This includes analyzing consumer preferences for next-generation products, effective deployment of cleantech, and identifying new revenue opportunities through innovative sensors.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in diverse, high-impact projects related to climate tech investment, new energy generation, smart mobility strategies, and other emerging deep tech areas.
- Apply various methodologies to assist clients in unlocking new value sources across innovations, products, services, and operations, including AI-enabled strategies.
- Collaborate with experts in engineering, science, product design, and business to develop strategies that maximize commercial and societal value from deep tech.
- Analyze markets, technologies, and business models to help clients navigate complexities, seize opportunities, and anticipate threats.
- Contribute to thought leadership on how deep tech can address global challenges, such as advancements in communication technologies and sustainable industrial practices.
Qualifications
- A Masterâs or PhD in physical sciences, mathematics, data science, engineering, or related disciplines.
- A business-oriented mindset, demonstrated through experience in entrepreneurship, internships, or relevant coursework in business or economics.
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills, with the ability to turn complex technical concepts into actionable strategies.
- Curiosity and adaptability, with a passion for learning and applying insights across multiple sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and crafting compelling narratives.
