As the Director of Media Lab for Google Marketing in EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the media strategy and driving innovation through AI-driven media transformation. Your responsibilities will include developing unique media buying and planning approaches that align with technological advancements and consumer behavior, with a strong emphasis on AI integration.

You will be tasked with creating pioneering media and communications strategies that amplify marketing communications across various channels. Leading the EMEA Media Lab’s transformation, you will architect a predictive media ecosystem that incorporates Generative AI and automated workflows, optimizing for business ROI and accelerating time-to-market.

In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for managing Google’s media planning across the EMEA region, ensuring that there is regional awareness and alignment with the global Google Media team. You will also engage with and inspire media agencies to elevate their work and foster innovation.

Collaboration is key, as you will work cross-functionally with Creative teams, Finance, Business Development, and Brand Marketing to align strategic marketing efforts and priorities. Your ability to blend creativity with analytical insights will be essential in driving successful marketing initiatives.

To qualify for this position, you should have at least 20 years of experience in a marketing discipline, managing multimedia advertising campaigns, and a strong background in product marketing-focused businesses. Familiarity with digital media, particularly Google Ad products, and experience in traditional media planning are also required. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, along with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of leadership.
