We are seeking a Client Director specializing in the Energy and Utilities sector to join a leading change and transformation consultancy based in Central London. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £135,000 and requires a seasoned professional with a strong network and proven success in account growth and transformational work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients in the Energy and Utilities sector across London and the UK.
- Drive business development efforts, focusing on account growth and the delivery of consulting solutions.
- Identify, design, and market consulting solutions related to change management, transformation, program management, and technology.
- Establish trusted connections with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Oversee large-scale consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully.
- Cultivate and lead high-performing consulting teams.
- Create and shape proposals, bids, and commercial opportunities from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and implement the growth strategy for the Energy and Utilities sector.
- Enhance personal visibility as an industry thought leader through participation in events and networking.
- Contribute to the overall growth and strategic direction of the Energy and Utilities practice.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in management consulting, advisory roles, professional services, or within a Big 4 firm.
- Extensive experience in the Energy and Utilities sector is crucial.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and expanding consulting business.
- Strong existing relationships and credibility with senior stakeholders in the Energy and Utilities sector.
- Experience in leading large and complex transformation projects.
- Proficient in commercial and account leadership.
- Experience in developing proposals and selling consulting services.
- Proven capability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to devise practical and innovative solutions to complex business problems.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree or professional qualifications are preferred.
