As the company expands its advertising business, it seeks a Senior Technical Solutions Manager based in London to enhance the success of Reddit Ads in the region.

This senior individual contributor role focuses on the Reddit Ads product portfolio, particularly in app advertising technologies. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor to various stakeholders, including advertisers, agencies, partners, and internal teams such as Sales, Product, and Engineering. Responsibilities include leading complex investigations into campaign creation, delivery, measurement, and reporting, as well as translating technical issues and customer feedback into product enhancements and improved operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead intricate technical investigations to diagnose and resolve complex issues faced by advertisers and partners across various aspects of the Ads Manager, including campaign creation, targeting, ad experiences, and reporting.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating business goals into actionable recommendations for implementation, measurement, troubleshooting, and platform usage.
• Manage escalations from start to finish, addressing urgent issues that impact revenue, coordinating with relevant Product and Engineering teams, and ensuring clear communication throughout the resolution process.
• Utilize structured technical analysis methods, including logs, data, APIs, and developer tools, to identify root causes of issues and differentiate between configuration problems, integration failures, and product defects.
• Influence product and engineering priorities by identifying recurring technical challenges and operational gaps, and providing evidence-based recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to test new features, validate advertiser workflows, and enhance technical readiness before product launches.
• Develop scalable solutions by creating documentation, runbooks, and automation tools that minimize repeat investigations and enhance the customer experience.
• Refine AI-assisted support workflows to ensure accuracy and alignment with Reddit Ads processes.
• Establish structure within a growing function by identifying support gaps and creating repeatable processes while fostering strong inter-team relationships.
• Represent the EMEA Technical Solutions team by sharing regional insights and customer impacts with global stakeholders.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation to address critical platform issues that may block revenue.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical solutions, solutions engineering, ad technology, digital advertising, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, including campaign setup, targeting, delivery, pacing, and measurement.
• Strong expertise in mobile app advertising, including app event instrumentation, SDK and MMP configuration, and attribution flows.
• Practical experience with REST APIs and technical integrations, including the ability to read API documentation and troubleshoot authentication issues.
• Proficiency in using logs and data analysis tools to investigate technical issues.
• Familiarity with web technologies and digital protocols such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Ability to prioritize customer impact and revenue risk in ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating effectively with Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and external technology providers.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead through influence, and create structure in a developing function.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
