As the company expands its advertising business, it is seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Manager to join its London team. This senior role focuses on driving the success of Reddit Ads, particularly in app advertising technologies, and involves collaboration with various stakeholders including advertisers, agencies, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead intricate technical investigations to diagnose and resolve complex issues faced by advertisers and partners across various aspects of the Ads Manager, including campaign creation, targeting, ad experiences, and reporting.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating business goals into actionable recommendations for implementation, measurement, and troubleshooting.
• Manage escalations from start to finish, addressing urgent issues that impact revenue, coordinating with relevant Product and Engineering teams, and ensuring clear communication throughout the resolution process.
• Utilize structured technical analysis methods, including logs and data analysis, to identify root causes of issues and differentiate between configuration errors, integration failures, and product defects.
• Influence product and engineering priorities by identifying recurring technical challenges and operational gaps, and providing evidence-based recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to test new features, validate advertiser workflows, and enhance technical readiness prior to product launches.
• Develop scalable solutions by creating documentation, runbooks, and automation tools to minimize recurring issues and enhance the customer experience.
• Contribute to the improvement of AI-assisted support workflows, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Reddit Ads processes.
• Establish structure within a growing function by identifying support gaps, creating repeatable processes, and fostering interdepartmental relationships.
• Represent the EMEA Technical Solutions team by sharing insights and customer impacts with global teams and leadership.
• Participate in a senior on-call rotation to support critical platform issues that may block revenue.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical solutions, solutions engineering, ad technology, digital advertising, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, including campaign setup, targeting, delivery, and measurement.
• Strong expertise in mobile app advertising, including app event instrumentation and SDK configuration.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and technical integrations, including the ability to read API documentation and troubleshoot issues.
• Proficient in using logs and data analysis tools to investigate technical problems.
• Familiarity with web technologies and digital protocols such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Ability to prioritize customer impact and revenue risk in ambiguous situations.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating effectively with Sales, Product, Engineering, and external technology partners.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead initiatives within a developing function.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
