Senior Technical Project Manager Overview

WPP is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to enhance the adoption of Open Intelligence across global markets and expand its partner ecosystem. This role is pivotal in transitioning Open Intelligence from its initial rollout phase to a sustainable global operating model, focusing on establishing scalable processes and governance for consistent onboarding and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical onboarding and operational rollout of external data and ad tech partners into the Open Intelligence ecosystem.
• Facilitate implementation workflows, including cloud environment setup, tagging, and validating API and server-to-server integrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to monitor onboarding progress, manage technical dependencies, troubleshoot integration challenges, and eliminate delivery obstacles.
• Act as the main operational contact for partners during the onboarding phase, assisting in the transition from commercial agreements to live technical operations.
• Create and maintain a global roadmap for data-partner onboarding and platform adoption, simplifying complex technical requirements into repeatable workflows and governance frameworks.
• Establish support structures, escalation paths, and quality standards while developing scalable operational models for local market teams to independently utilize new platform capabilities.
• Ensure comprehensive visibility across integration streams, continuously enhance rollout frameworks and operational tools, and contribute to the long-term operational strategy for Open Intelligence and related partner solutions.

Who You’ll Work With:

You will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including:

• Product and Engineering teams to align technical requirements and delivery priorities.
• Data Strategy and Commercial teams to connect partner capabilities with market needs.
• Regional market teams to support onboarding and transition to sustainable local operations.
• External data, supply-side, and ad tech partners to manage operational relationships from integration through launch and ongoing support.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in AdTech, programmatic media, supply-side platforms, or related data/platform environments.
• Proven track record of managing external technology or data partners throughout the integration lifecycle, from commercial handoff to testing and ongoing operations.
• Technical proficiency in APIs, server-to-server integrations, tagging, data flows, and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to translate technical details effectively and engage in problem-solving discussions with engineering teams, without needing to be an engineer yourself.
• Strong program and dependency management capabilities, with experience coordinating multiple complex integration streams in matrixed environments.
• A history of creating structured processes in dynamic environments, including playbooks, governance models, and operational procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, coupled with a hands-on approach to delivery and continuous improvement.
