As a Global Hub Operations Director at WPP Production, you will lead the operational performance and development of Studio A’s global production hub network. Your role will involve setting consistent operating standards across various locations, transforming demand into credible capacity plans, and ensuring that production hubs deliver high-quality work in line with client agreements.

You will connect Hub Operations Leads with delivery and capability leaders, as well as various functional teams such as Commercial, Talent, HR, Finance, Technology, and Facilities. Your leadership will be executed through Hub Operations Leads, managing the global operating cadence and owning the hub operating model.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish governance and decision rights for shared capacity, prioritizing Worldwide and Geo demand.
• Maintain a Hub Playbook that includes planning, onboarding, compliance, service management, and financial controls.
• Conduct regular hub leadership meetings to report on status, decisions, and cross-hub learning.
• Translate demand forecasts into a rolling view of capacity by hub, skill, language, and employment type.
• Work with Delivery and Geo leaders to manage resource allocation and productivity while ensuring service levels are maintained.
• Lead operational readiness for Workshops and other surges, ensuring all necessary resources and contingencies are in place.
• Provide operational data to support the commercial model and ensure consistent measurement of demand and costs.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams on forecast accuracy and capacity pool economics.
• Define operational requirements for resource management platforms and ensure data quality across hubs.
• Lead, coach, and assess Hub Operations Leads, fostering an integrated leadership team with clear expectations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior operations leadership within a complex, multi-location production or agency environment.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, workforce management, service performance, and financial controls.
• Ability to convert incomplete data into actionable scenarios and executive decisions.
• Proficient in metrics and capable of challenging assumptions effectively.
• Experience in scaling or reshaping hub operations and managing security and continuity requirements.
• Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills and sound judgment under pressure.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities across diverse cultures and functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
