We are seeking an experienced RF Communications specialist to take on a leadership role in shaping strategy and influencing critical programs within the Defence and National Security sectors. This position offers the opportunity to lead the architecture and development of advanced RF communication systems, working directly with clients to drive projects from early concepts to deployed capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of advanced RF communication systems.
  • Engage with clients in the Defence and National Security sectors across the UK.
  • Influence the technical strategy and commercial direction of projects.
  • Oversee projects from initial concept and modeling to real-world deployment.
  • Establish long-term, trusted relationships with senior technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with commercial and account teams to define work programs and support bids.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in RF communication systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of radio propagation, system design, protocol design, and implementation.
  • Experience in delivering research and development or advanced design programs.
  • Ability to work directly with UK Defence and National Security clients.
  • Commercial awareness and experience in contributing to bids or client proposals.
  • A proactive and positive mindset.
  • Experience in consultancy, government agencies, or fee-for-service environments is advantageous.
