We are seeking an experienced Insurance Architect to join the Insurance and Financial Services practice of a prominent global consultancy. This role involves shaping and delivering complex digital transformation programs for major insurers, life and pensions providers, wealth managers, and financial services organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop current-state and target-state architectures, transition plans, and technology roadmaps.
- Create solution designs, integration patterns, capability maps, and architecture documentation.
- Work across applications, data, cloud, integration, AI, and cybersecurity.
- Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Support cloud migrations, platform transformations, and digital changes in areas such as underwriting and claims.
- Advise senior business and technology stakeholders on architecture and platform decisions.
- Contribute to proofs of concept, thought leadership, and internal capability development.
- Collaborate with wider consulting, technology, and delivery teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years’ experience in technology-focused roles.
- Experience within insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of solution or technical architecture across applications, integration, data, cloud, or security.
- Understanding of data modeling, governance, migration, integration, and visualization.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to both business and technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.
- Experience with one or more of the following would be highly desirable: Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, FNZ, SS&C Pershing, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, AI or GenAI-enabled transformation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary up to £75,000.
- 30 days’ annual leave.
