Insurance Architect Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Architect to join a leading consulting organization that is expanding its specialist Financial Services architecture team. This position offers the chance to collaborate with major insurers, wealth managers, and financial institutions, playing a key role in shaping large-scale technology transformation initiatives that encompass cloud, data, applications, and emerging AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing enterprise and solution architectures for complex transformation projects.
• Develop target-state architectures, roadmaps, and transition strategies.
• Work on initiatives related to applications, integration, cloud, and data.
• Aid organizations in modernizing their legacy technology systems and adopting new digital capabilities.
• Contribute to projects focused on cloud, artificial intelligence, and data transformation.
• Engage with both business and technical stakeholders to define solution options and provide recommendations.
• Support architecture governance and assist in technology decision-making processes.
• Participate in thought leadership and innovation initiatives within the broader architecture practice.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or technology consulting roles.
• Experience in the Insurance, Financial Services, or other regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with data, applications, integration, cloud, or security domains.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Experience working at the intersection of business and technology teams.
• Familiarity with platforms like Guidewire, Duck Creek, FNZ, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• A keen interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies.
