We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst at the Consultant level to join a prominent global change and transformation consultancy that is expanding its Technology & Data practice. This role is pivotal in assisting clients in converting complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data effectively.
- Develop and maintain semantic and dimensional data models for enhanced data understanding.
- Engage in the entire data lifecycle, from upstream data engineering to final reporting.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to derive insights.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within various datasets.
- Support data quality initiatives, governance, and the definition of metrics.
- Translate business needs into user-friendly reporting solutions.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Product Owners on broader data initiatives.
Qualifications
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
- Proficient in Power BI with a strong understanding of its functionalities.
- Solid SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Good grasp of data modeling concepts, especially Star Schema and Kimball principles.
- Experience with data warehousing, Lakehouse, or Medallion architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and client interactions.
- Ability to transform data into compelling visual narratives and actionable business insights.
