Undergraduate Finance Overview

Join BAE Systems for a 12-month Undergraduate Finance Placement, where you will gain practical finance experience in areas like Financial Planning & Analysis, Project Finance, and Financial Controls & Systems. This role is based in Preston, Lancashire, and requires you to attend the site 3-4 days a week.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting to ensure timely and accurate information.
• Analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing insights to stakeholders.
• Supporting month-end activities, reconciliations, and financial controls to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Building effective relationships across teams and communicating financial information clearly.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives using technology and data to enhance efficiency.
• Demonstrating strong analytical skills, attention to detail, curiosity, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
