We are seeking a skilled Ads Policy Lead for Europe, who possesses substantial expertise in policy development and thrives in dynamic environments. This senior individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of Ads Policy, does not involve direct management of staff.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading the development, drafting, and maintenance of strategic advertising policies for Reddit’s ads products, acting as the subject matter expert for the EMEA region.
• Drafting risk assessments and strategic policy recommendations for senior leaders and executive stakeholders, effectively representing the Ads Policy perspective.
• Serving as a role model of Reddit’s Company Values, providing guidance and support to teammates as a senior peer leader.
• Making decisions on complex ads policy escalations, delivering clear and balanced rulings on high-impact issues.

To qualify for this position, candidates should have:

• At least 7 years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development, particularly in technology, digital platforms, advertising, or Trust and Safety.
• A proven track record of managing complex policy projects independently in fast-paced environments.
• Deep expertise in international advertising or content policy, with experience working with global teams and advising stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex policy matters into clear business terms.
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex problems into structured decision documents outlining risks, trade-offs, and solutions.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Direct experience with advertising policies within a major tech platform.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance workflows and automate processes.
