We are currently seeking a seasoned Ads Policy Lead to join our team in a remote capacity within the United Kingdom.

This role is a senior individual contributor position without direct management responsibilities, reporting to the Head of Ads Policy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the research and development of comprehensive policies that influence Reddit’s global advertising platform. This position will collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Sales, Operations, and Trust & Safety Policy, to address innovative challenges and facilitate responsible business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, drafting, and maintenance of strategic advertising policies across Reddit’s ads products, acting as the subject matter expert for the EMEA region.
• Draft risk assessments and strategic policy recommendations for senior cross-functional leaders and executive stakeholders, clearly representing the Ads Policy perspective.
• Serve as a role model of Reddit’s Company Values, providing guidance and support to teammates as a senior peer leader.
• Make decisions on complex ads policy escalations, delivering clear and balanced rulings on significant issues.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development, particularly in tech, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing complex policy projects independently in fast-paced environments.
• Deep subject matter expertise in advertising or content policy on an international scale, with experience working with global teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex policy matters.
• Exceptional analytical skills to synthesize complex problems into structured decision documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in advertising policies within a major tech platform.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance workflows and automate processes.
