As a Strategic Partner Development Manager for AI Pureplay, you will be instrumental in shaping the recruitment strategy for new partners and accelerating their adoption of Google Cloud services. This role involves collaboration across various teams within Google Cloud, including product management, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing organizations, to ensure strong alignment with partners and to develop innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of capacity planning models to align high-value partner Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) resources with significant customer accounts.
- Track engagement pipelines, manage staffing models, and monitor delivery milestones to ensure excellence in co-selling and service delivery.
- Assist partner teams in integrating directly with enterprise accounts, helping them navigate complex customer environments and effectively manage multi-agent orchestration with existing corporate databases and hybrid systems.
- Implement commercial structures that enhance time-to-value and Return on Investment (ROI) for customers, scale business for partners, and optimize platform consumption for Google Cloud.
- Serve as a key liaison between partner engineers, Google Cloud Sales teams, and technology leadership, collecting field insights and addressing technical challenges from partner deployments, and relaying feedback to internal cloud AI product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 15 years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, or channel development within the technology sector.
- Experience in coordinating or participating in AI/ML technical transformations, using Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) or embedded delivery models.
- Demonstrated experience in launching partner products and solutions, including complex channel go-to-market strategies involving multiple partners, procurement through cloud marketplaces, and consumption-based solutions.
- Proven ability to manage and expand technology partnership relationships with both internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Experience in strategic and operational planning and management.
- Ability to interface with and build trust with C-level executives in partner organizations.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud AI offerings such as Vertex AI, Gemini, and ADK, as well as knowledge of modern multi-agent systems like LangGraph and CrewAI, coding agents, and open-source developer tools.
