Join Pigment, an innovative AI-powered business planning and performance management platform that connects people, data, and processes in a single, intuitive solution. We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help design and implement the infrastructure for our platform, which is essential for managing large datasets that require real-time updates.
The Senior SRE will face various challenges, including defining and building scalable infrastructure, ensuring high availability and redundancy, and monitoring platform performance. You will also participate in incident response and support our geographical expansion as we grow and onboard international clients. Collaboration with our security team will be crucial for implementing infrastructure-related roadmaps.
In addition to SRE responsibilities, you will engage in software development activities, working closely with software engineers to foster a shared understanding of challenges and solutions. You will be part of a dedicated SRE team within our Engineering department, which is responsible for the entire application development lifecycle, from design to production maintenance.
Our technical stack includes Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform, Terraform for infrastructure management, PostgreSQL, SingleStore, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, and various backend and frontend technologies. We value user-centricity and pragmatism, choosing the most effective tools for each problem while fostering a culture of curiosity, humility, trust, and teamwork.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience as a software engineer and in DevOps/SRE, familiarity with container orchestration platforms, and a solid understanding of public cloud providers. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby is essential, along with experience using observability tools. A strong team spirit, problem-solving attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning are also important.
