AI Engineering Consultant / Senior Consultant Overview

At Capgemini Invent, we are looking for an AI Engineering Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems at an enterprise scale. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between AI prototypes and the integration of data and AI solutions into business operations.

Your Role

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and implementing a robust MLOps framework, governance, and best practices according to industry standards.
• Designing and delivering end-to-end AI/ML systems, from data preparation and model development to deployment and monitoring.
• Utilizing the latest Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks, such as ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Llamaindex.
• Translating AI use case requirements into data and AI architectures using the most suitable cloud services.
• Architecting and implementing Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines and workflows across Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Embedding safety, evaluation, and assurance mechanisms throughout the AI lifecycle to ensure ethical and explainable solutions.
• Translating business and functional requirements into technical blueprints and guiding multi-disciplinary teams in execution.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions drive business value.
• Contributing to business development by creating client-ready demos and supporting proposals.
• Building reusable assets and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency across accounts.

Your Profile

We are seeking candidates with:

• Experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting mindset and the ability to work in a matrixed organization.
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical client sponsors to design requirements and build solutions.
• A proven track record in designing and implementing MLOps strategies and delivering AI/ML solutions at scale.
• A deep understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing cloud-native data and AI architectures across Azure, GCP, AWS, or Databricks.
• The ability to demonstrate how scaling AI unlocks business value.
