A leading infrastructure and utilities organization in the UK is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their expanding technology team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support full-stack applications to enhance an established suite of internal systems and integrations.
- Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
- Contribute to software architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Support release management, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
- Mentor colleagues and share technical knowledge to support the success of the wider team.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Python development.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
