Business Analyst – Manufacturing & Operational Technology Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a significant cyber security transformation initiative focused on enhancing the security of operational technology systems that support large-scale manufacturing. This position is based in London or Reading, requiring two days per week in the office and allowing for three days of remote work. The contract is for six months and falls inside IR35, offering a competitive rate of £540 per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate current operational technology processes, tools, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Support pilot programs, deployments, and site rollouts while gathering feedback to refine processes.
• Assist in engaging with suppliers, preparing procurement documentation, and ensuring the quality of third-party deliverables.
• Contribute to the establishment of governance frameworks, operational models, and a culture of sustainable security.

Skills & Experience

• Proven business analysis skills with the capability to distill complex information for operational teams.
• Familiarity with operational technology and industrial systems such as SCADA, PLCs, MES, and HMI.
• Understanding of cyber security principles and experience in designing frameworks or assessment criteria related to risk and operational contexts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
