The Senior Manager, Accounting is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of international growth revenue and expenses across the profit and loss statement and related balance sheets. This role operates within the Controllership leadership team and involves hands-on management of the end-to-end international growth close process. The successful candidate will also lead initiatives aimed at improving the accounting function through standardization, automation, and the integration of advanced technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the international growth revenue and expense close cycle under US GAAP, ensuring timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
• Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly financial variance analyses, collaborating with financial planning teams to assess spending trends.
• Act as the primary expert in international revenue and expense accounting, applying technical principles to complex areas such as partner agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement by simplifying and automating close processes through technology adoption.
• Foster strong partnerships with accounting teams and commercial stakeholders to promote a culture of excellence.
• Integrate commercial insights into accounting decisions by collaborating with procurement and finance operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in financial and operational accounting in a complex global business.
• Experience managing the entire financial close cycle, including revenue, expenses, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate financial reporting standards.
• Experience in driving process improvements and financial system transformations.
• Ability to manage accounting operations across multiple international entities.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to senior stakeholders.
