We are seeking a skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer with a strong background in PCB design to join a dynamic engineering team focused on developing high-performance electronic products. This position offers the chance to play a vital role in the design and development of intricate hardware systems while relocating to Essex. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative and technically driven environment, taking ownership of PCB designs from initial concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create complex PCB layouts and schematics utilizing Altium Designer.
• Lead hardware design initiatives throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
• Deliver high-speed PCB designs while ensuring signal integrity, power management, and compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
• Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to facilitate successful product integration.
• Assist in prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation using laboratory equipment.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical decision-making processes.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.

Experience Required

• Significant experience in PCB design and schematic capture.
• Proficiency in using Altium Designer for PCB design.
• Experience in designing complex, high-speed electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power management, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Comfortable supporting hardware development from concept through to prototype and production phases.
