We are seeking a seasoned Hardware Design Engineer with a robust background in PCB design to join our expanding engineering team in Essex. Key Responsibilities

• Design and create intricate PCB layouts and schematics utilizing Altium Designer.
• Lead hardware design initiatives throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
• Deliver high-speed PCB designs while ensuring signal integrity, power management, and compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
• Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to facilitate successful product integration.
• Assist in the prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation processes using laboratory equipment.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.

Experience Required

• Significant experience in PCB design and schematic capture.
• Proficient in using Altium Designer for PCB design.
• Experience in designing complex, high-speed electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power management, and EMI/EMC principles.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Comfortable supporting hardware development from concept through to prototype and production stages.
