Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies aimed at increasing the user base and fostering local communities.
• Design, initiate, and expand local growth programs to enhance Reddit’s ecosystem of users, communities, and contributors.
• Adopt a creative and entrepreneurial mindset by continuously testing and assessing new ideas to achieve growth objectives.
• Act as the primary local contact for providing market insights and feedback to cross-functional teams, including Communications, Product, Business Development, and Marketing.
• Coordinate the execution of initiatives specific to the market across various stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to the country’s health and notify relevant teams of significant changes.
• Analyze performance trends, identify potential risks and opportunities, and formulate action plans accordingly.
• Serve as a local representative for Reddit, establishing influential relationships and partnerships to engage and attract new audiences.

What We Expect From You

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in user growth, community development, product operations, or country expansion, with a proven record of executing large-scale growth programs.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and strong execution capabilities, with the ability to independently drive projects.
• A solid combination of operational, growth, data, and community/content expertise.
• Experience in building communities or expanding a user base through grassroots initiatives.
• Data-driven and analytical approach, with proficiency in Excel modeling and a working knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to create scalable processes and automations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effective collaboration with internal teams, users, content creators, and external partners.
• Results-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on execution.
• In-depth understanding of local market culture, including language, current events, politics, customs, and cultural sensitivities.
