WPP is seeking a Senior Group Treasury Systems Manager to lead and transform the Treasury technology landscape. This role is crucial for the delivery of Elevate28, WPP’s strategic transformation program, and involves collaboration across various departments including Treasury, Finance, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Treasury Systems strategy, roadmap, and transformation agenda, focusing on optimizing Treasury technology globally.
• Manage large-scale transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and automation.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, IT, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Act as the liaison between Treasury and technology teams, translating business needs into technology solutions.
• Manage governance, service delivery, and vendor relationships for Treasury systems.
• Ensure systems and processes align with governance and risk management requirements.
• Promote innovation through automation and analytics to enhance decision-making.
• Drive improvements in data quality and operational efficiency.
• Support global cash management and treasury transformation initiatives.
• Develop scalable support models and best practices for Treasury operations.
• Monitor emerging technologies to enhance Treasury capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Treasury Management Systems in a corporate or financial services setting.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated project management expertise with a successful track record.
• Advanced analytical skills, particularly in Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with treasury platform integrations is advantageous.
• Proactive problem solver focused on process optimization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, especially AI applications in treasury.
