We are seeking a Senior Game Developer specializing in AI to join our team in London, UK, in a hybrid working arrangement. In this role, you will be responsible for building and launching HTML5 slot games using TypeScript and PIXI.js. This position requires a hands-on approach, focusing on various aspects of game development including mechanics, animations, server integration, prototyping, and performance optimization on real mobile devices.
Your responsibilities will also include taking ownership of creating an AI-native development workflow from scratch. This involves developing agent tooling, integrating MCP systems, and establishing automated testing and review processes to facilitate the safe and effective use of AI throughout the game development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch HTML5 slot games utilizing TypeScript and PIXI.js.
- Engage in hands-on tasks related to game mechanics, animations, server integration, prototyping, and performance optimization for mobile devices.
- Establish an AI-native development workflow from inception, including the creation of agent tooling and MCP integrations.
- Implement automated testing and review processes to ensure safe and effective use of AI within the game development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing HTML5 browser-based slots or similar real-time HTML5 games.
- Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and PIXI.js.
- Experience working with REST APIs and WebSockets.
- Hands-on experience with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
- Demonstrated ability to build AI development workflows from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of AI-assisted coding practices, including automated checks and review loops.
- Experience in optimizing applications for cross-browser compatibility and multiple devices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and demonstrate strong technical judgment.
- Fluent in English with excellent collaboration skills.
