We are currently seeking a Programme Manager to join a global financial markets organization that is undergoing a significant transformation in its front-office technology, specifically within the commodities trading function. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of a new Order & Execution Management capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive delivery of a significant front-office trading technology program.
- Oversee the mobilization, planning, governance, and execution of the program.
- Manage the delivery process involving business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
- Maintain integrated program plans, including milestones, budgets, and dependencies.
- Drive the management of risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the program’s lifecycle.
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting activities.
- Coordinate testing, data migration, integration, and operational readiness workstreams.
- Support the transition from implementation to production support and business-as-usual operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex technology programs within financial markets.
- Familiarity with trading platforms, Order Execution Management Systems (OEMS), electronic trading, or front-office technology programs.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back trading architectures and downstream integrations.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders across business, technology, operations, risk, and vendor groups.
- Expertise in program governance, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, and executive reporting.
- Experience in coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), cutover planning, and implementation activities.
- Knowledge of commodities, metals trading, or broader capital markets environments is highly advantageous.
