PAM Architect Overview

As part of WPP Enterprise Technology, the PAM Architect will play a crucial role in shaping the technology services that support the creative transformation of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design the architecture for Privileged Access Management (PAM), including the controls model and onboarding patterns.
• Establish standards for privileged-account discovery, vaulting, and session control.
• Ensure that PAM designs and modifications delivered by partners meet established security and resilience standards.
• Implement least-privilege and zero-trust principles within the PAM framework.
• Provide guidance to the product owner regarding the direction of the PAM platform.
• Define the architecture, patterns, and guardrails for implementation by Kyndryl.
• Act as the design authority and approval gate for architectural decisions made by partners.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in PAM architecture and privileged-access design.
• In-depth knowledge of the Beyond Trust product suite.
• Familiarity with vaulting, session management, and just-in-time access methodologies.
• Understanding of security architecture and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in integration design across various infrastructures and applications.
• Proven track record in design authority and documentation.
• Recognized experience in architecture within the relevant domain at an enterprise scale.
• Possession of relevant architecture or platform certifications, such as TOGAF or vendor-specific architect tracks.
• A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to set target architecture, standards, and design patterns for the domain.
• Capability to design for security, scalability, resilience, and total cost of ownership.
• Skill in influencing engineering and vendor teams without direct authority.
• Ability to balance strategic goals with practical, achievable decisions.
• Commitment to staying updated with platform developments and emerging capabilities.
