Office Technology Product Owner Overview

As part of WPP Enterprise Technology, the Office Technology Product Owner will play a crucial role in providing technology services that support creative transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the roadmap, standards, and backlog for office technology, including meeting rooms, room booking, print, and signage.
• Ensure a consistent and modern in-office technology experience for all users.
• Manage operations with Kyndryl and other AV/vendor partners, approving necessary changes.
• Oversee hardware standards, lifecycle management, and refresh processes.
• Collaborate with facilities and agencies to enhance room and workplace technology.
• Prioritize demand and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Define service outcomes, standards, and SLAs for Kyndryl and other partners.
• Monitor Kyndryl’s performance, manage demand and escalations, while retaining accountability for service delivery.
• Approve partner-delivered changes before they are implemented in production.

Qualifications

• Experience in product or service ownership specifically related to meeting-room and office technology.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms, AV systems, signage, printing, and room-booking platforms.
• Knowledge in managing hardware lifecycle and standards.
• Experience in vendor governance and SLA management.
• Ability to manage backlogs and stakeholder expectations.
• Proven track record in product or service ownership relevant to the technology sector.
• Experience in overseeing third-party or managed-service delivery in accordance with SLAs.
• Possession of relevant certifications or a degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to balance user experience, security, cost, and operational stability in decision-making.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to utilize data and user feedback to drive improvements.
