New Business Manager Overview

As a New Business Manager at WPP Production, you will play a vital role within the Growth Team, managing the daily delivery of pitches and RFI/RFP responses from the initial briefing to final submission. This position is fast-paced and focused on delivery, requiring you to manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure that complex, multi-market opportunities are executed to a high standard and on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end delivery of small to mid-size RFI/RFPs, building and managing project plans, and driving the daily operations of each opportunity while swiftly resolving any challenges that arise. You will also assist in shaping the strategy and structure of RFP responses, ensuring they align with client objectives and WPP Production’s offerings.

In addition, you will write and edit sections of client-facing content, ensuring clarity and consistency, and coordinate contributions from various team members to ensure high-quality inputs are delivered on time. You will be responsible for ensuring all outputs are cohesive and on-brand, as well as briefing and coordinating the development of supporting assets such as videos and pitch materials.

Moreover, you will contribute to the creation of case studies and reusable content, identify opportunities for improving pitch processes, and mentor New Business Executives to help raise team standards. Representing WPP Production in internal and external meetings, you will act as an ambassador for the Growth Team.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience managing and delivering pitch or proposal processes within a creative, content, or agency environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure clear, compelling, and well-organized responses.
• Proven project management capability, including building and managing project plans, timelines, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Highly organized and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Confident working with stakeholders across different teams, levels, and markets.
• Commercially aware, with an understanding of how pitches convert into revenue and business growth.
• Understanding of the advertising production landscape and broader marketing ecosystem.
• Strategic thinker, able to translate input into clear response structures and compelling narratives.
• Curious and engaged, with an interest in innovation and future-facing content trends.
