Graduate Systems Engineer Overview

As a Graduate Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in delivering advanced technology-led solutions in the defence, aerospace, and security sectors. This position is based in Warton/Samlesbury, Lancashire, and offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, along with a £2,000 welcome bonus. You will be expected to work on-site 3-5 days a week, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available.

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including:

• Managing requirements to ensure project specifications are met.
• Developing system specifications to guide engineering processes.
• Conducting research, design, and development activities for various systems.
• Engaging in systems modeling and integration to enhance product functionality.
• Overseeing qualification, certification, and acceptance processes for systems.
• Providing ongoing product support to ensure operational efficiency.

To qualify for this role, you must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace, Technology, Systems, or Engineering.
