Graduate Security Consultant Overview

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to embark on a career in Security & Resilience within a highly regulated and dynamic environment. As a Graduate Security Consultant, you will gain valuable experience in various aspects of security, including physical, personnel, information, and operational resilience, aimed at protecting sensitive assets and operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Interpret, implement, and monitor security controls to ensure the protection of classified assets on site.
• Provide security advice to employees, assist in threat mitigation, and conduct threat and risk assessments as necessary.
• Support the delivery of security services for the F-35 and Typhoon programmes, ensuring compliance with company, customer, and government security requirements.
• Promote security awareness and best practices across programme teams, and assist in investigations into security incidents when required.
• Maintain documentation related to business continuity and operational resilience, including records, reports, and resilience assessments.
• Assist with resilience exercises, test activities, workshops, and track the resulting actions.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have obtained or be predicted to obtain a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in relevant subjects such as Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.

Contract Details

The start date for this position is July 5, 2027, and it is a permanent contract. The closing date for applications is September 28, 2026, at 07:39 (UK time).
