This role involves working closely with customers to ensure successful deployment and integration of Watcher into their environments, providing exceptional support and feedback throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire process of customer deployments, including cloud, on-premises, and self-hosted backends, from initial architecture discussions to production rollout.
- Develop integrations between the Watcher product and customer environments, including coding agent setups, security operations tools, identity and access systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and optimize monitors, policies, and permissions tailored to each customer’s workflows, ensuring monitoring quality is maintained with real traffic.
- Troubleshoot issues in customer environments, often under pressure, and collaborate with the product team to resolve them.
- Conduct technical evaluations and proof of concepts (POCs) with potential customers, scoping pilots, deploying Watcher, and demonstrating its value.
- Act as the technical liaison for security and engineering leaders during evaluations, addressing architecture and security inquiries, and providing demonstrations based on actual use cases.
- Collaborate with the AI Security & Control Engineer on security questionnaires, architecture reviews, and customer penetration test support during the procurement process.
- Provide feedback to the team regarding technical aspects that influence deal progression or stagnation.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for key customers, managing escalations, incident communications, and feature requests.
- Create customer-specific capabilities when necessary and engage in discussions about which features should be incorporated into the core product.
- Transform deployment experiences into reusable documentation and tools that streamline future deployments.
- Represent customer needs in product planning, leveraging insights gained from direct interactions.
Job Requirements

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, primarily Python and TypeScript, with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar code.
- Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and deployment tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating with both technical engineers and security executives.

- Demonstrated initiative and ownership, proactively identifying and resolving customer issues without waiting for formal requests.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment, with a willingness to handle ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Judgment to discern between custom requests and those that should be integrated into the core product, with the ability to communicate this diplomatically.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating clear deployment documentation, incident updates, and POC reports.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for engineering tasks while ensuring high-quality outputs.
