Employee Relations Manager, EMEA Overview

We are seeking an Employee Relations Manager for our EMEA region based in London. In this role, you will partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, and Inclusion teams to design and implement employee relations guidelines and workflows that are fair and efficient. Your primary focus will be on identifying root causes and systemic trends to address issues proactively, ensuring they do not escalate into formal cases.

As a trusted advisor to people managers, you will help them navigate sensitive situations with confidence and consistency. You will also collaborate with Legal and HRBPs to ensure that our practices align with employment laws across various EMEA jurisdictions. A structured approach to employee concerns is essential, along with the ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HRBPs, Legal, and Inclusion teams to create and implement employee relations guidelines and workflows.
• Identify root causes and systemic trends to proactively address issues before they escalate.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers in handling sensitive situations.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Apply a structured approach to employee concerns while exercising sound judgment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in employee relations or HR, focusing on performance management, investigations, and risk mitigation.
• Experience in employee relations in the Netherlands, UK, or Poland; knowledge of other EMEA markets is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in developing scalable employee relations processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on employee relations strategy.
• Structured system-thinker comfortable with ambiguity.
