Within the AI & Developer Platforms group, we are seeking a Director of Project Management to lead our Project Management team. This role is pivotal in transforming strategy into execution across a diverse portfolio of complex initiatives that encompass AI platforms, developer tools, software infrastructure, and ecosystem enablement.

The successful candidate will be a delivery leader who shapes how our global software organization plans, prioritizes, governs, and executes strategic work. You will be responsible for defining and evolving the operating model for project and portfolio delivery, establishing planning frameworks, execution practices, risk management strategies, and ensuring leadership visibility to deliver with clarity, speed, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Project Management function across AI & Developer Platforms, setting standards for planning, governance, implementation, risk management, and delivery excellence.
• Develop and support a distributed team of Project Managers, enhancing capability, consistency, and career growth.
• Manage the operational rhythm for AI & Developer Platforms delivery, including quarterly planning, portfolio reviews, execution assessments, issue management, and leadership reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, UX, ecosystem, and business leaders to align priorities and drive successful outcomes for central initiatives.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear delivery plans with accountable achievements and measurable outcomes.
• Identify and address systemic delivery challenges to enhance organizational efficiency and predictability.
• Incorporate data, automation, and portfolio insights into decision-making processes to inform leaders about progress, risks, and investment trade-offs.

Necessary Skills and Experience:

• Significant experience in leading complex cross-functional programs or delivery organizations in relevant technology environments.
• Proven ability to build and lead project management teams.
• Experience in defining operating models and execution standards that scale across teams.
• Strong influencing skills to drive decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent systems thinking capabilities linking strategy and outcomes.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience using metrics and data to improve execution quality.

• Experience leading delivery across globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with portfolio planning and resource management.
• Experience in improving delivery efficiency through automation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with AI to enhance project management processes.
