Director, Data Strategy Overview

WPP Media is seeking a Director to join its Data Strategy community, playing a pivotal role within the Wavemaker data strategy team. This position focuses on key clients such as Reckitt, Jet2, Colgate, and Danone, aiming to transform how these clients perceive, organize, and utilize data and technology to enhance customer engagement and brand experiences.

The Director will report to the VP of Data Strategy for Wavemaker and will manage 1 to 2 Data Strategy Managers. The primary responsibilities include:

• Leading the design of data-driven audience strategies, leveraging available datasets and technology to inform paid media campaign recommendations.
• Collaborating with media planning and activation teams to embed advanced data solutions into campaign execution.
• Acting as a technology consultant, advocating for Open Intelligence and Infosum solutions, and identifying opportunities for client engagement.
• Assisting in the development of AI-based tools to enhance the efficiency of the data strategy practice.
• Overseeing the work and professional growth of Data Strategy Managers.
