We are seeking a Data Science Manager who combines technical expertise with inspirational leadership skills. In this role, you will lead a talented team of data scientists and analysts while remaining actively involved in guiding the design and delivery of cutting-edge machine learning and AI solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering an inclusive and high-performing work environment.
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable data science solutions utilizing machine learning, AI, and advanced statistical methods.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable data products that facilitate strategic decision-making across the Networks division and BT Group.
• Analyze large-scale network datasets to uncover opportunities for enhancing efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
• Effectively communicate complex technical insights through engaging data storytelling, visualizations, and clear recommendations.
• Drive innovation and contribute to shaping the future of Data Science and AI within BT Networks.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in applying machine learning, AI, and statistical techniques to address complex, real-world business challenges, from problem definition to implementation and measurable results.
• Proficient in Python and contemporary data science methodologies, with a solid grounding in mathematics, statistics, and analytics.
• Comfortable working with extensive datasets and creating data-driven solutions.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing technical teams, fostering high-performance environments, and supporting team members in their professional growth.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience working within large, complex, or regulated organizations.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, networking, broadband, voice, TV, or related infrastructure domains.
• Experience deploying and operationalizing machine learning solutions in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior audiences and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience driving data-driven transformation or establishing new AI and analytics capabilities within an organization.
