Bloomberg is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Exchanges & Venues (EV) team as a Content Relationship Manager for the EMEA region. This role is crucial for managing, acquiring, and integrating content and data from various providers, including exchanges and brokers, to enhance the Bloomberg Terminal and other products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with exchanges, regulators, and clients, influencing contractual negotiations, and leveraging their understanding of the market data landscape to identify new opportunities. Additionally, the role involves assessing risks and rewards for multiple business units and managing expectations with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with exchanges, regulators, and clients to enhance Bloomberg’s offerings.
• Influencing and assisting in shaping contractual negotiations with exchanges.
• Utilizing knowledge of the market data landscape to identify and pursue new engagement opportunities.
• Evaluating risks and rewards for various business units while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Fostering collaborative relationships with key partners across Bloomberg, including teams in Enterprise, Sales, Product, and Legal.
• Analyzing business intelligence to guide decision-making processes.
• Acting as a point of escalation and representing Bloomberg to key stakeholders and C-Suite executives at exchanges.
• Traveling occasionally as required for the role.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an exchange or market data industry.
• Experience interacting with senior business executives.
• Strong skills in relationship management and negotiation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of managing initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Deep understanding of the evolving models of exchanges and vendors, along with the technical landscape.
• Strong knowledge of the commercial landscape relevant to Bloomberg and how clients utilize data.
• Familiarity with market data licensing and redistribution policies, as well as relevant regulations is preferred.
