We are seeking a Commissioning Manager for a well-established Building Services organization located in Oxford, UK. This company is recognized for its innovative approach, efficiency, and commitment to sustainability, serving clients across various sectors within the construction industry.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, which is crucial for this role. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with various benefits including visa sponsorship.

Role Responsibilities

• Take charge of the daily management of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) commissioning tasks across various projects.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of specialist subcontractors involved in commissioning activities.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and participate in meetings as necessary.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and manage their needs effectively.
• Review and revise commissioning-related policies and official documentation.
• Attend on-site meetings and provide reports as required.
• Monitor M&E installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with third-party utility providers to facilitate project requirements.
• Oversee water treatment processes in line with project demands.
• Effectively lead responsible teams while fostering positive working relationships with colleagues, management, and clients.

Requirements

• Possess an industry-recognized degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical installation or engineering.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in a Commissioning Manager role.
• Demonstrate experience in commissioning both Domestic and Commercial systems.
• Ability to comprehend complex systems to allocate appropriate resources effectively.
• Extensive experience in project management, ensuring progress against various deliverables.
• Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving company goals and meeting deadlines.
• Exhibit performance and attitude consistent with company policies and mission.
• A valid UK driving license is required; international applicants will receive support for conversion.
• Desirable: SMSTS – Site Management Safety Training Scheme qualification.
