The Cluster Director of Sales position is a key role responsible for driving revenue across multiple hotels in Scotland. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a sales strategy that targets various market segments, including corporate transient, corporate contracted, MICE, group series, tour operators, FIT, and GDS channels.

This position requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities throughout Scotland and engaging with key business partners. The Cluster Director will lead the corporate RFP process, ensuring competitive positioning and successful conversion rates, while also driving production from travel management companies, wholesalers, and global distribution partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and executing a targeted annual sales plan for various segments.
• Monitoring market conditions and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
• Managing corporate and MICE sales, including groups, tours, and FIT development.
• Collaborating with other departments to enhance sales efforts.
• Providing leadership and representation for the sales team.

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

• A minimum of 5-8 years of hotel sales experience, ideally in upscale or conference-led properties.
• Proven results in corporate, MICE, groups, FIT, and agency segment development.
• Strong understanding of GDS channels and corporate RFP processes.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits of the position include a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per year, along with a bonus structure, discounts at hotels in the group, and covered travel expenses. This role is based onsite in Scotland, with potential locations including Aberdeen, Inverness, or Dunfermline.
