As an Undergraduate Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, you will embark on a 12-month placement starting in June 2027, based at our Warton/Samlesbury location in Lancashire. This role offers a competitive salary of £25,900 and includes a mix of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, requiring attendance on-site 3-5 days per week.
In this position, you will be involved in various aspects of systems engineering, including but not limited to:
- Requirements Management
- System Specification
- Research, Design & Development
- Systems Modelling & Integration
- Qualification, Certification & Acceptance
- Product Support
You will contribute to critical projects for both national and international customers, working on advanced products such as the Typhoon, Future Combat Air System, Autonomous Systems, and Mission Support Products. This role will also provide you with insights into schedule management, cost considerations, stakeholder engagement, and through-life support while emphasizing safety and environmental factors.
