Role Overview
The Undergraduate Software Engineer will engage in the entire lifecycle of software development, from concept and design through to delivery and maintenance. You will be responsible for creating software for complex, real-time systems and developing safety-critical and mission-critical software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions and complete assigned requirements, design, implementation, and testing tasks to a high standard and within deadlines.
- Participate in peer reviews of your work and that of your colleagues.
- Produce appropriate technical documentation and configure completed work according to project processes.

The Air Team at BAE Systems has a rich history in the development and support of advanced combat and trainer aircraft, operating globally to provide design and production support.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must be on track to obtain at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or Electronic Engineering.
