The Summer Internship Program at BlackRock is an immersive eight-week experience designed for students, running from June to August. This program aims to provide a challenging and supportive environment that closely resembles the role of a full-time analyst at BlackRock.

Interns will begin with an orientation that includes a comprehensive overview of the firm and insights from senior leadership. Following this, participants will receive practical training and will be assigned daily responsibilities within their teams. The program also includes a speaker series, mentoring opportunities, and various networking events, allowing interns to connect with employee networks.

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be in their penultimate year of study, graduating in 2028 from either an undergraduate or master’s degree program. Applications are welcome from students of any academic background. It is important to note that local language fluency is required for positions in Continental Europe, while only English is necessary for roles in Budapest or within Private Markets Investing in Zurich.

Applicants are limited to submitting one application for the internship program and may choose up to two functions within that application. If an application is withdrawn, resubmission for the same program in the current year is not permitted.

Upon submission of the application, candidates will receive an email prompting them to complete a pre-interview assessment, which must be submitted within five days to avoid automatic withdrawal of the application.

Application deadlines vary by location, with key dates including:

  • London, Paris, Zurich – 30 September 2026
  • Edinburgh, Milan, Amsterdam – 30 October 2026
  • Budapest, Belgrade, Frankfurt, Munich, Copenhagen – 13 November 2026
  • Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Riyadh – 31 January 2027

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and early submission is encouraged. BlackRock is committed to equal employment opportunities and fair treatment for all applicants and employees.
