Summer Intern Information Management and Technology Overview

This internship position is designed for individuals interested in Information Management and Technology, based at our Warton/Samlesbury location in Lancashire. The role is set to commence on June 21, 2027, and will last for 12 weeks, concluding on September 10, 2027. Interns will be expected to work onsite five days a week.

As a Summer Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of IM&T projects that enhance the capabilities of our business and its customers. Your responsibilities will include developing data-driven solutions to improve performance and decision-making, maintaining and enhancing the systems that support our innovative products, and collaborating with stakeholders to define IT requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing IM&T projects that deliver capabilities to the business and its customers.
• Develop data solutions to enhance business understanding and performance.
• Maintain and improve design, business, and manufacturing systems used to develop pioneering products.
• Work with in-house customers to understand and shape their IT system requirements.
• Engage in a variety of complex activities, investigating, defining, and resolving intricate issues.
• Support various IT processes, services, and projects.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor work to ensure objectives, timelines, quality standards, and business requirements are met.

Qualifications

To qualify for this internship, candidates must be on track to achieve at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in any subject.
