Solution Architect Overview

We are currently seeking a Solution Architect to join a leading consultancy that is expanding its architecture capabilities across large-scale digital transformation projects. This position is ideal for individuals who have transitioned from a software engineering background into architecture while maintaining a strong technical foundation.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and delivery leadership to define solution direction, shape technology strategy, and support the implementation of complex enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define comprehensive solution architectures for complex digital transformation initiatives.
• Create architecture artifacts, roadmaps, and detailed technical design documentation.
• Lead technical discussions focusing on application, integration, and cloud domains.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to establish and uphold architectural standards and best practices.
• Support technology strategy, delivery planning, and investment decision-making.
• Engage with stakeholders from both business and technology sectors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A solid background in Software Engineering with hands-on experience.
• Proven experience in designing software, application, and integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and solution design principles.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
• Knowledge of service-oriented and integration-led architecture methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
