As a Software Engineer II in the Google Search team focusing on Mobile Android, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative technologies that enhance how users connect and interact with information. This position involves tackling complex engineering challenges and contributing to the evolution of the Android Search App.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and User Experience, to develop front-end features for the Android Search App.
• Write high-quality, testable code while implementing new features under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conduct testing of assigned features across various environments, including teamfood, dogfood, and production, while assisting in troubleshooting product or system issues.
• Manage work assignments effectively to meet deadlines, proactively communicating progress and escalating any technical challenges.
• Utilize AI development tools to enhance daily workflows.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in software development using one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• At least 1 year of experience in Android application development.
