As a Senior Electrical Engineer at ExxonMobil, you will play a crucial role in supporting various business units at our Fawley site. Your responsibilities will include providing specialized electrical engineering advice to the Process and Maintenance Departments, ensuring that electrical supply meets operational demands, and investigating equipment failures to enhance reliability.
Your role will also involve supporting projects by preparing necessary documentation such as screening studies and design specifications. You will be expected to provide guidance on electrical safety and technology issues to management, while also leading initiatives aimed at improving the health of electrical systems across the fleet.
To qualify for this position, you must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and be a Chartered Engineer or equivalent. You should have significant experience in an operational environment, preferably within a COMAH facility, and be familiar with relevant legislative requirements. Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment, working with high voltage systems, and supporting major maintenance activities is essential.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. This position offers the opportunity to work in a flexible environment, with some remote working options available.
