  • Lead the experimentation and measurement strategy for your domain, from framing questions to decision-making and review processes.
  • Provide guidance, tools, and protocols that enhance experimentation speed and quality for partner teams.

  • Analyze not just whether changes are effective, but also understand the reasons behind their effectiveness and their applicability across different users and markets.
  • Evaluate the impact of product decisions on platform health and growth, and communicate potential long-term costs of short-term gains.
  • Establish and implement a metric framework for your domain, including safeguards and proxies for outcomes that are not immediately observable.

Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience in data science or a related quantitative field, with a strong history of influencing product organizations.
  • Expertise in statistical methods and experimentation, including experimental design, causal inference, and advanced methodologies like Bayesian methods.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL, with extensive hands-on experience in statistical modeling and various machine learning techniques.

  • Strong capability to assess the long-term implications of product decisions on platform health and growth.
  • Experience in standardizing processes across teams, utilizing AI and automation to establish best practices.
  • Ability to foster cross-functional relationships and drive results across various teams without direct authority.
